Alisa Wiebe - Director 2018

Alisa was born and raised in Winnipeg in a family home filled with
music. She took piano and violin lessons from a young age and found her
musical niche when she joined what is now known as Pembina Trails
Voices. She holds a Bachelor of Musical Arts from Canadian Mennonite
University and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Manitoba.
Alisa teaches choir, vocal jazz, and fiddle at Collège Garden City
Collegiate. In addition to her teaching, Alisa conducts the Pembina Trails
Voices Boys Choir and sings with the Winnipeg Singers. She has enjoyed
recent experiences of working with CMCA and EMCA Junior High
Choirs and adjudicating at ChoralFest and the SouthEastern Manitoba
Festival. When she's not making music, you might find her in the woods,
hiking or cross country skiing with her husband.

Beth Emmers - Accompanist 2018

 

Beth grew up in Lethbridge, Alberta and has been playing piano since she could reach the keys. She became involved in any musical experience she could find including; musical theater, festivals, chamber choir, jazz choir, and church choirs. Beth studied jazz piano at Humber College in Toronto, Ontario. After college she moved to Utah and met her husband, Jason, and is now a busy mother of 4 beautiful girls. She keeps busy writing, arranging, accompanying choirs, teaching group piano classes and is the music coordinator for her church across Manitoba
